Job Summary

The QC Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities related to Quality Control and inspection of finished products. He monitors conformance to predefined specifications and ensures quality control programs are executed properly and quality standards are adhered to.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicates Quality Control policies, procedures, and processes to production operations to maintain efficient operational excellence.
  • Supervises the implementation of the Quality Control plans across production operations by assigning routine and regular examination and testing of components, processes, and final products inspection.
  • Participates in Quality Control inspection activities related to facilities and finished products.
  • Directly addresses and resolves any Quality Control work issues, highlights and deviations of production processes and products when they appear in coordination with QCHSE Section Head.
  • Monitors all quality related activities on projects and coordinates all internal and external operational audits on behalf of the QCHSE Department. Reports on projects execution compliance with set policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Evaluates the degree to which the operations set-up, planning and scheduling contribute to Quality Control policies and procedures.
  • Ensures the adequate collection of Quality Control statistics on a regular basis and generates relevant reports to the QCHSE Section Head.
  • Assesses Business Unit operations compliance against set Quality Control standards and provides recommendations as applicable.
  • Introduces and discusses Quality Control initiatives and knowledge sessions throughout the Business Unit operations with the QCHSE Section Head.
  • Appraises the status of the Business Unit operations as measured against the set objectives and determines causes of non-conforming quality deficiencies with the necessary corrective action needed to avoid re-occurrence.
  • Perform and other relative tasks might be requested by his line manager.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration)

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in the field of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment within similar industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Arabic and English.
