Job Summary

  The Accountant - Fixed Assets is responsible for executing Inventory Control measures to ensure the minimum costs and maximum stocks possible and maintaining an accurate inventory records.

Job Responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant raw materials, finished goods and give the actual needs of safety stock.
  • Performs ad hoc, periodic, and annual stock counts and physical inventory.
  • Produces periodical reports to ensure key critical areas of the inventory system are controlled and any discrepancies or inaccuracies are addressed and resolved.
  • Ensures minimizing overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital within SCC.
  • Analyzes and consolidates stock movement transactions, and produces periodic reports and statistics as required.
  • Ensures incoming materials are received, handled, stored, and managed appropriately according to SCC related procedures.
  • Review and enhance the procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions.
  • STO follow up weekly, investigate & Solve problems.
  • Acquire on time of receiving the asset.
  • Scrap in proper way (fill form related and take the necessary signatures).
  • Selling in proper way (fill form related and take the necessary signatures).
  • Maintain proper cost center for each asset had been transferred within company with proper form and notification.
  • Maintain a project report to management quarterly and match it with related GL accounts from balance sheet.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Supply Chain Management)

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Inventory Control and/ or Management within similar industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Supply Chain Management).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Arabic and English.
